Beethovens Fourth Symphony is duplicated and unfolded in real-time into different listening modes and experiences. Live audio processing creates instrumental textures, spectral blending and shifts in rhythm transmitted to 150 wireless headphones. Spectators experience contrabass and tympani through vibrations on beds that are slowly tilted. A circle of 8 steel sheets equipped with hi-fi transducers play back delayed clouds of sound. Visitors experience the music through skull bone conduction in contact with the steel.
